About Me

Hello,

    I am Marissa Martin and I am the founder of the "A Part of the Arts" foundation. I'm currently a Freshman at the Columbus College of Art & Design where I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising & Graphic Design .  I've created the "A Part of the Arts" foundation to support the movement of integrating Special Education with Art Education. Many schools across the nation continue to keep their Special Education department completely separated from all other educational departments and I am striving to change this. I believe that the art department is the best place to begin the process of integration, because all students should have the right to receive the benefits that the Arts have potential to provide.
